What will it include?

The educational technology landscape moves somewhat more rapidly than the general education one so nothing can be set in stone even a couple of weeks ahead. What you can be sure of though is that we will look at a wide range of tools, you will get to try many of them on the day and the support materials will be available from before the event and long after it. Click on the video to hear more (and to get rid of the horrible thumbnail).

Approach

  • Pre-course samples and introductory videos allowing for more hands on time in the session
  • High teacher trainer ratio to participants
  • Use of Chromebooks (we will also have some PC laptops) or BYOD (bring your own device)
  • Carousel from table to table focussing on different types of e-tool at each stage
  • Opportunities for networking, sharing and collaboration
  • Everything you make will be linked to via a shared document so you can use it later (as well as the resources created by other people)

Tools (indicative...there may be new stuff by 26th!)

  • Optional Google and Ipad apps showcase at lunchtime!
